Articles are curated by the Editor and authored by leading researchers in their respective fields. TIBS articles have a goal to move beyond simply summarizing the literature to synthesize the data, put forth new ideas, provide insights into the direction of the field, and ultimately have a unique point of view. Each issue of TIBS is primarily composed of concise and timely Reviews and Opinions. In addition, we publish a variety of shorter articles such as Spotlights, Forums, Science & Society, and Technologies of the Month.
